From Strathclyde Country Park, we take the footpath to Chatelherault, 3 miles away.
Over the River Clyde, under the M74, back to the banks of the Clyde before joining Avon Water and eventually arriving at Chatelherault, once the residence of the Dukes of Hamilton. A look round the Visitor's Centre and a coffee break before making our way back the start point via the same route.
