Drop In Support and Activities
This is a partnership project of St Andrew's Church with NHS Lanarkshire and Alzheimer's Scotland began is 2012 and addresses an issue which is receiving an increasingly high profile. A drop in café for those with memory difficulties and their carers is normally held on the last Friday of each month between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, while am activity based meeting is normally held on the second Friday of the month between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
These meetings meet a need and people enjoy spending time together, supporting each other in relaxed surroundings and receiving support and advice as necessary. A link has been established with Victoria Park School.
This venture starts on Wednesday, 5 October 2016 in the Bakehouse Café in Clyde Street, starting at 7:00 pm.
Coffee and Chat. Come along and bring friends and enjoy music, singing, film clips, discussion and a host of other activities. An opportunity to make new friends. All ages will be welcome. We look forward to sharing this new venture with you.
The café will run on the first Wednesday of each month.
